Running time: 53 minutes
A few days after the terrorist attacks of September 11, 2001, a special memorial program was held at Satchidananda Ashram-Yogaville, Virginia. During this program, Swami Satchidananda answered the questions posed by ashramites and guests.
One main question he addressed was about how we, as yogis, respond to violence. Sri Gurudev explained, “If you harbor anger and hatred, you’re adding more fire. You are not doing anything to heal the situation. Getting angry is not negative, it could be positive. You have to know how to use it. That means, you have to control your mind. You have to be master of your mind.”
This DVD contains the question and answer session, the prayers that were held during the program and excerpts from the interfaith service conducted in honor of this National Day of Prayer and Remembrance. The program closed with a message of peace and hope from Sri Gurudev.
