About Us

Shakticom is the audio/video department of Satchidananda Ashram-Yogaville. It is owned and operated by Satchidananda Ashram, located in rural Virginia, the headquarters of Integral Yoga International.

Our mission is to preserve the teachings of Sri Swami Satchidananda and to make these teachings available to yoga practitioners and spiritual seekers.

Our goal is to provide quality recordings that you will find beneficial, that will help you to grow physically, emotionally and spiritually. With this growth we hope you will experience more peace, joy, love and light in your life. And you share these with others.

Shakticom began with one devotee, a reel to reel audio tape deck and a microphone. It has grown over the years and as media has evolved, we have met the changes from reel to reel to audio cassettes to cds to downloadable media and from film to video cassettes to dvds. The challenge of keeping up with the electronic changes is ever present in all our lives.

We continue to strive to meet that challenge so the teachings of Sri Swami Satchidananda will continue to be available for generations yet to come.

We challenge ourselves to provide the highest level of customer service. We would like to exceed your expectations. The goal of our yoga is to be of some benefit with no harm to anyone or anything.
